Award Application Form

Community Achievement Award submissions must be received by the CPAA Office via email to [email protected] by 4:00 pm, March 14, 2024.

CPAA recognizes the outstanding work and successes of our members with our Community Achievement Award to be awarded annually.

Community Planning Association of Alberta members are focused on multiple ways of improving the quality of life in their local areas.  Communities across Alberta have undertaken and are currently involved in a wide range of community-based projects to address community safety, health, local services and social and economic opportunities.

This award is intended to recognize, celebrate, and share the success and hard work of an individual, team, or organization whose creative ideas and work has positively contributed to community building and well being anywhere in Alberta.

The only requirement is that you have to be a member of CPAA.  If you are not a member and wish to apply simply become a member by contacting CPAA as below.

The award winner will be formally announced and presented with a plaque recognizing their achievements at the 2024 CPAA Conference in Red Deer and will be featured in CPAA publications. Nominators and winners must be CPAA members in good standing.
